Who we are
At Northwest Wattage we strive to lead the way in our industry with design, style, and execution of work. Putting our customers first we constantly strive to better our company and meet the changing needs of our clients.
With over 20 years experience in the Residential and Commercial Electrical field we have the skill set, equipment, and attention to detail it takes to deliver a quality product on time.
That is the whole job, start to finish: show up when we said we would, do the work to code, pull the permits, keep the site clean, and hand back something that works the way it was designed to. Estimates are free, and the number we quote is the number we work to.

Credentials
Everything below is on file and current. Ask us for any of it before you hire us — you should be asking every contractor who bids your job.
Active Idaho Electrical Contractor license. We pull permits and work to code on every job in the state, residential and commercial alike.
Active Washington Electrical Contractor license. The state line is not a boundary for us — we are licensed to work on both sides of it.
Northwest Wattage LLC is bonded. That protection sits behind the work before we ever open a panel on your property.
We hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We are not BBB accredited — the rating stands on how the work and the follow-through have gone.
Our customers have rated us 5.0 out of 5 on Google. Their words are further down this page, unedited.
Send us the plans or the problem and we will scope it and price it at no cost. No charge to find out what your project actually takes.
Our work
Custom homes are where the design and style side of the business shows up. We wire new construction from rough-in through trim, and we lay out lighting so a timber ceiling, a wine cellar or a kitchen island reads the way the architect drew it — not the way the box happened to land.
Lighting design and control is a specialty, including Lutron smart home and lighting control, exterior lighting, and the low-key details like under-cabinet runs and closet lighting that get noticed only when they are missing.
Panel upgrades and replacements are steady work here. Older Coeur d’Alene homes carry panels that were never sized for how a house is used now, and swapping one is the single change that quietly fixes a long list of complaints.
Commercial projects, service calls and troubleshooting, code compliance and pre-sale corrections, generators and backup power, and hot tub and spa circuits round it out. Premium work is what we lead with. Service work is not something we hide from — if your lights are doing something strange, call us.
Service area
We are based in Coeur d’Alene and work across the Inland Northwest. Because we hold active electrical contractor licenses in both Idaho and Washington, we can take a project on either side of the state line without handing it off to somebody else.
Recent permitted work includes jobs in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Harrison and Sagle. If your property sits somewhere between those, call and ask — the answer is usually yes.
